Chris Carminucci starts his second season as the Brockton Rox manager. Along with his managerial duties in 2010, he will also oversee all business operations with the club. Carminucci spent 2008 in the front office as the President of the Atlantic City Surf. In 2007, Chris was the field manager for the Surf as he guided them to the Can-Am League playoffs and earned Manager of the Year honors. Prior to his tenure with Atlantic City, Carminucci managed the St. Joe Blacksnakes of the American Association in 2006 and the Can-Am League’s road team, the Grays in 2005.
Carminucci was a four-year starter at LaGrange College in Georgia, where he played third base and led the team in hitting in both his junior and senior years. Following graduation, Carminucci was a player/coach for the Tennessee Walkers of the Big South League.
Carminucci has served as an associate scout for the Kansas City Royals and Philadelphia Phillies.
His coaching career includes stops with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod League, St. John’s University and Bangor Lumberjacks.
