Brockton 11, Quebec 10 In a wild affair, the Brockton Rox rallied from a 6-3 deficit, scoring eight runs in the final two innings to defeat the Quebec Capitales 11-10. C Scott Wearne led the Brockton offense going 3-for-6 with two runs scored and two RBI. LF Mike Conroy chipped in with a two-hit night with two runs scored and four driven in. Rox reliever Colin Lynch tossed a scoreless 2/3 of a inning to notch his second win of the season. 3B Michael Thompson went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a RBI for Quebec in defeat.
New Jersey 2, Sussex 0 A sparkling performance by New Jersey starting pitcher Isaac Pavlik (Pictured) leads the Jackals to a 2-0 win over the Sussex Skyhawks. Pavlik went the distance allowing only five hits while fanning seven batters. He improved his record to 5-3 on the season. RF Kevin Clark went 1-for-4 with a run scored for the Jackals.
Pittsfield 6, Worcester 3 A solid pitching performance by Pittsfield hurler Kyle Zaleski helps the Colonials doubled up the Worcester Tornadoes 6-3. Zaleski went seven strong innings giving up only one earned run on seven hits with six punchouts. He is now 7-1 on the season, which is a tie for tops in the Can-Am in wins. DH Donny Leon went 2-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI while 3B Jason Taylor had a three-hit night. For Worcester in defeat, DH Nick Salotti had a two-hit night, scoring two runs and driving in two.
